Don't you just love when the sun streams through your window at precisely the right moment? This outfit was the spoils of another fantastic thrifting excursion to Steveston. I have to say, I'm very happy that my Mom now lives in that neck of the woods. Steveston Thrift Store is the bomb. This velvet skirt is the perfect shape, and check out the epic collar on that blouse! I wasn't sure if I could pull it off, but I think it works well as part of a fancier outfit. This amazing chest that I'm sitting on was my Grandma's hope chest. It contains her beautiful lace and satin wedding dress, which I will hopefully restore and do a post about one day.School is almost wrapping up...
