WWII WAAC overcoat
{Photos by Ruth} I finally fixed up my WWII WAAC coat I found on ebay over the summer. I'd been searching for a tailored one for about a year, and was so happy when I was the only bidder! I have yet to research the badges, so if anyone knows anything about them, some info would be greatly appreciated! The cap doesn't go with it, and you're probably not supposed to wear them together, but it just looked weird without a hat. The coat is super warm, lined in wool, so it's very heavy! Like wearing a blanket. I wish I knew the original owners name so I could look her up, I'll bet she had a pretty interesting life!
