I don't know the technical part of it but the fire alarms go off when it is very, very cold. Yes, a fire alarm that goes off in extreme cold. Everyone has to evacuate when the alarms go off. This is not fun. I think my feet are still numb from the last "drill". But at least my neck stayed warm.
