Winter Is Coming
Ha! I’ve been waiting the entire year to use that as a post title (I watch too much TV, I know.) Anyway, winter is coming. This is the first day of the year that the temperature dipped below 65. It may not seem that cold to you guys, but trust me, in Hanoi, 50 degrees is positively arctic. The humidity makes the cold so much worse, just like it makes the heat worse too.
My outfit is inspired by Carey Mulligan’s character in Never Let Me Go - muted colors, chunky sweater and scarf (she usually has on a big coat and a beanie too), and wellingtons. I’ve always loved her wardrobe in that, even though the movie makes me feel absolutely wretched. There are...
