Shop Local and Family Portrait
I very rarely post things about my family on this fashion blog. But for a change, and because I'm hoping this may inspire others, I am sharing my "Shop Local" experience--which included my family. We actually started this tradition last year. For Christmas the four of us get together and Christmas shop in Rockport--an artistic, ocean-side community with a slew of cute little shops. One gift each. Then we go for lunch. We started off the day with a family picture--as it is rare now to have the whole family together with one of my sons in San Diego.
