Oxblood Coated Trousers
Sweater, Zara striped sweater. Pants, Zara Coating Trousers. Jacket, J.Crew Factory Military Jacket. Scarf, Zara. Shoes, Classique “Riley” Pumps. Bag, Gucci Boston. Lips, Mac Ruby Woo.
The color of the fall, it seems, is oxblood. Oxblood is short for “oxygenated blood”. Blagh. Yuck. Not that attractive, but it’s a great fall color. It’s a lovely dark red. Since I love my black coated trousers so much, I also snatched up this pair in “russet” which is essentially oxblood. Coating trousers, however, are like wearing plastic pants. They are not warm at all and the wind goes straight through them. Brrr!
