Walk. Eat. Shop.
My cousin, Sophie (From Sophie in the Kitchen) visited me this weekend. We shopped, ate, and walked miles and miles in the city. We encountered the best shopping in Soho and basically spent all of Friday afternoon there. On Saturday, we didn't really have any major plans...just lunch, dinner, and my photography class in Central Park. Since we were up for anything, we actually ended up walking from 1st street to 82nd street. Crazy!! It's actually not as bad as it seems...82 blocks and 5 avenues is about 4 miles. It was basically 4 miles in 4 hours. We stopped for lunch, a snack, and to go into Henri Bendel.
