Ah-Nab-Awen Park
What a dreary January day! It's finally starting to look like a Michigan winter around here. Gray, wet, cold. I took a little stroll through Ah-Nab-Awen park today. I couldn't believe there were fisherman out in the river and so many runners. I'm like, you crazy! But then here I am... taking outfit shots in the rain. Oh boy.Ah-Nab-Awen Park is located right downtown Grand Rapids. It was once the site of a Native American village. The name, "Ah-Nab-Awen" means, "Resting Place." This park contains many pieces of art and also hosts many festivals throughout the year. This is the same park that has Lorrie's Button! Sometimes it's crazy to me that most of you never even saw...
