I vote yes for Sway Chic
I'm not sure how it got started, but the second my little sister and I were old enough to vote together -- we were wearing patriotic clothes to the polls. For the last presidential election, she wore the biggest, dumbest looking American Flag head band and I wore the brightest red, white, and blue dress. The old ladies at the polling center asked if we were even eighteen because obviously only kids would dress like that or something. While my sister is in Canada now, I still carried the tradition on. I didn't wear this to vote because I figured it would be a far better day after election dress. We won't talk about the election, but let's just say I'm proud of my state! ...
