Refashion: Olivia the piglet
Today we got to wear our book character costume to school. I chose Olivia, my costume was inspired by this book: I thrifted this dress on Monday and waited until Tuesday night to work on it. This maternity dress was the only red dress I found that day but with little time and little options I grabbed it anyways. What I did was cut the length, cut and sew a white collar from an old t-shirt and I added a little black bow. I made the snout and ears from construction paper. My kids liked my costume so I guess it was a success.BeforeAfter And here's the class picture, aren't they all cute? My assistant was Ruby the Bumblebee. ^_^Total cost of costume: $10 dollars
