a no-buy halloween: art thief & detective
this might have been my favorite costume that we put together. we wore this out for a halloween party on saturday night (you might have seen the crappy instagram photo i posted). the plaid cape was something that i found while thrifting over a year ago; i don't really wear it much, as it's a bit, um, theatrical, but i'm glad i saved it - it worked perfectly for this costume. the hat is bryan's cycling cap and it was made by our friend gary. bryan grabbed a painting off of our dining room wall and stuffed a 'money bag' with old shirts. more no-buy halloween costumes... sandy & danny dorothy & scarecrow paul bunyan & babe
