Weekend Style
This past weekend Maydivi, one of my best friends from
Miami, traveled up to DC to participate in the 2012 37th Marine CorpsMarathon. So, the girls and I took a little road trip on Saturday to
DC. We went out for early dinner, shared some laughs, and caught up with
some gossip from back home. We would have loved to have cheer her on at
the race on Sunday, but unfortunately hurricane Sandy had a different plan.
May did finish her first marathon race in 4:47:24 and even though I wasn’t
there to hug her at the finish line, I’m extremely happy I got to see
and spend time with her.
