Risk-taking
To be honest, I spent all day not feeling sure about this outfit. I adore these shoes, but find styling them difficult. The drastic change between cold mornings and warm afternoons presents its own set of style challenges, where the layers have to be versatile and appropriate for a 40-degree temperature change in one day. Ultimately, I figured if other style bloggers can get away with heels and socks, so could I (although no one has mastered this look better than Christine of Futurelint).
