I lived on Spruce Street for 6 months when I first moved to Philadelphia last May. It was a wonderfully quaint 6 months indeed. Every time I go back to the Washington Square West area of Philly, it brings back memories of why I fell in love with this city in the first place. The cobblestone streets, the endless rows of brownstone buildings, the adorable dog walking couples, the corner restaurants that had THE BEST food you've ever tasted. Everything you needed was within a few blocks . . . no car needed.
