My boyfriend and I spent 5 days in Belgium last week. Oh, what a beautiful place! We stayed in Ghent and I spent most of my time just wandering around, a little lost, enjoying the sights and almost getting run over by cyclists. The vibe of the city is very laid back and cool. One of my first thoughts (after, bloody hell, I've never seen so many bicycles in my life!!) was how well dressed people were- with sharp haircuts and well-cut clothing. We sat in a coffee shop (see pictures of me) on our first day and people-watched for a while - people of all ages mingle a lot more than I notice here in the UK.
