Happy New Year friends! I had a rather, uh, interesting celebration. I went to a 1920's themed house party which was more of a blast from the past than I had anticipated even given the theme. As in, my boyfriend from when I was like 15 years old happened to be there. And I had to spend more time than I care to admit trying to convince him that I really was over the fact that he dumped me 11 years ago in order to date another girl, and that I was happily married now. No, really, I kid you not. I'll spare you some of the other interactions with my gentlemen callers of the very distant past, but suffice it to say there was a lot of awkward hand-waving from across the room....
