Boston Proper, Boston Improper
Dear Dress Lovers, When an outfit gets a "that's cute" from the teenage daughter, I think it passes muster. If I wear something too prudish, she does not think it is cute. If I wear something that is blatantly adolescent, she does not think it is cute. I know my age, and so does she. While preppy skirts may be Boston Proper, there was a time when witches were definitely not proper in Boston! Fast forward to about the time the Victorian era was ending, and I guess some witch-y references were considered just fun Halloween stuff.
