Medellin – a week of salsa and culture
And just like that I’m back at my desk – it feels impossible that reality and everyday life still exists. Colombia was absolutely the trip of a lifetime and ever since we started the journey home I’ve been trying to work out why so that I could articulate it here. I think it’s because it was so much a road untravelled. For most of it there just wasn’t a tourist path and so we were immersed into everyday life there, rubbing along with local people and that made it feel vibrant and true.
