Dot Watching
It’s that time of year again; dot watching the Montane Winter Spine races & catching up each morning on their beautifully shot videos via YouTube. I’ve never been on any section of the Penine Way but it looks stunning. The big one (268 miles) started at 8am Sunday morning and the winner finished last night (Wednesday) as I was getting ready for bed. It took him 82 hours, the third fastest time ever recorded. I didn’t feel like running yesterday lunchtime but having watched a video update, I left my desk, got changed & ran just four peaceful miles along the canal. The sun even came out towards the end.
