When both Nigel and I were still working, every once in a while we attended holiday parties. Nigel’s company would sometimes have the party before Christmas or after the New Year. I actually liked them better after the New Year. But, Nigel wasn’t necessarily a social butterfly (though you’d never believe it these days) so we didn’t attend them on a regular basis.
