Bluer Than Velvet Was The Night
It was Teacher’s Day last week, so I wore this to our school’s celebration. This dress is more blue than gray in real life, which is why I paired it with my blue velvet blazer. They actually go together quite well, since the polka dots look like stars. I should’ve worn one of my constellation-themed brooches to keep with the “blue velvet/night” theme too, but well, not every outfit can be 100% on point, can’t it? Also, unfortunately, these suede loafers had to be retired after this – their color has faded too much. I tried fixing it in the photos, but in real life they’re a mess.
