Mom-Day Zombie Adventure at Swan Lake in All the Sci-Fi Shows, a Wee Shop, and Kitty in the Closet

Welcome back, Gentle Reader, and Happy Hallowe'en, if that sort of thing rings your (door)bell. No formal costume for me today, but I did go for an "All the Sci-Fi Shows" vibe. Mom and I headed out to Swan Lake to enjoy the sunny but crisp day. We last visited the Lochside Trail side back here in November 2023, and the Nature House side here in July 2023. Not the kind of day for walking
