School Coffee Morning
Last Wednesday I worked from home as I took my son to a coffee morning and tour at one of the two secondary schools he is considering. The application window is open and this time next year he'll have been in Year 7 for a month. Sob. At 10, he is tall compared to his classmates depsite being one of the youngest in the year but compared to the secondary school kids he looked tiny! He was so excited looking around a big school asking lots of questions of our guides but it hurt my heart a little thinking of him being all grown up finding his way in a new school after so long at his current primary setting.
