The Basket Of Flowers
Here’s my outfit for this week’s SIA, inspired by Frederick Carl Frieseke’s “ The Basket of Flowers “. When I first saw the painting, I knew pretty much right away that I’d wear this striped shirt and these mint trousers, but the accessories took a bit longer. I wanted to wear a flower brooch, but I felt it wasn’t enough to reflect the background of the painting. Luckily, my trusty tie collection came to the rescue, and this tie, with its navy blue background and purple flowers, is perfect.
