Like Mushrooms After Rain
In Vietnamese, there’s a saying that is translated to “growing like mushrooms after the rain”, to describe something that is developing very quickly/abundantly. Thus, I feel it’s appropriate to wear my new (to me) mushroom-printed shirt for this week’s SIA, inspired by Mary Koop’s poster for the London Underground. The mushrooms look like umbrellas, and they’re just as colorful as the umbrellas in the poster too. The shirt is so focus-pulling already, so I let it shine and kept the rest of the outfit simple with a pair of tan trousers and my trusty canvas shoes to reflect the background of the poster.
