The Boulevard At Night
Here’s my outfit for this week’s SIA, inspired by Camille Pissarro ‘s “The Boulevard Montmarte At Night”. I have to admit, this one took me some thinking. If it was winter, I would have no problem, but it’s a little difficult with my warm-weather wardrobe to find pieces that could reflect the dark colors of the painting and the highlights of gold and yellow. In the end, I went with a simple blue and gray color combo and relied on my trusty tie to add some gold to the outfit. I also wore my pearl brooch as a nod to all the streetlamps (it’s not a tie pin but I wore it like one anyway.)
