This dress is one of those rather awkward pieces that I can only wear for a very small window in the spring or fall – the hem and sleeves are short enough for a summer dress, but it’s polyester and lined, so it’s not exactly breathable. I’m going to need to figure out different ways to layer it if I want to wear it more (and I do want to wear it more, the print is exactly my style.) For now, I’ll just have to be content with chucking a blazer on top of it. I did add a brooch though, because the print is water-themed and the brooch kind of reminds me of waves.
