I had a different outfit planned for this week’s SIA, inspired by George Sherwood Hunter’s “ Jubilee Procession through a Cornish Village “, but then we got hit with a cold snap, and it was much colder than I expected, so I had to scrape my original plan and came up with something new. This isn’t as close to the painting as I’d like – I tried to go with the “gray with gold accents” color scheme, but my grays are more brownish than blueish, and my gold is more mustard than yellow – but at least it’s cozy.
