Balancing the Old and New
Phew! Last year was a real challenge. This year I am determined to slow things down, work a little less, focus more on getting my house in order and spend time with family. It's the end of an era as I leave one career field and enter another. It's scary and exciting and I am looking forward to the new challenges. But, more than anything, I really just want more of a work/life balance in this new year . Since I am changing my work field, I have become acutely aware of the fact that everything in my wardrobe that was appropriate or even celebrated for my last job just won't work in my current second job or in my new job.
