38 Things
Today is my 38th birthday.
It feels weird to say I’m 38. It feels weird to get older each year, yet still feel the same. I’m not sure what I thought 38 would feel like but I do know I’m very grateful for being able to celebrate another year around the sun. Every year, I try to throw out societal timelines of what a certain age should represent, as we each move through our lives in very unique ways. I’ve been feeling a bit reflective (and a bit more down) the last week or so, if I’m being honest. I sometimes wish I could retreat back to the carefree living of my 20s or early 30s, but alas, those thoughts...
