Happy new week all! After Saturday was a complete wash out, the sunshine thankfully returned on Sunday when we ran 8 miles along the canal to Newbury with my sister. The three of us met my parents at the end for lunch and wandered around the food market afterwards. Leeds played their first game of the new (Championship) season in the afternoon and of course, brought their usual, special brand of chaos. It finished 2-2 after being 2-0 down at halftime. There is comfort and reassurance in a new season and yet the same old bat shit routine. I love them but my word, Leeds United put their fans through it year after year.
