Pink & Blue
For this week’s SIA, inspired by Kristy Goggio’s still-life painting, I knew I’d wear some version of this blue and pink combo. After playing around with different pairings, I landed on this. The pink of my shirt doesn’t quite match the painting (it’s more of a coral pink, while the painting has more of a purplish pink), but it’s the only pink summer shirt I own, so it’ll have to do. By a stroke of luck, I recently thrifted these heels, and the color and the weaving make them perfect for this challenge. Finally, I added my anemone brooch because it looks sort of like the flowers in the painting.
