What Brings Us Joy
I’ve been thinking about the concept of joy/play recently.
When was the last time I experienced deep joy? It’s often in small, everyday moments that we (I) tend to take for granted – when I’m singing along to a really great song, dancing my butt off on the dance floor, getting to know someone, watching my dog sniff every tree as he wanders around outside, laughing at a clever joke, being immersed in a game, and feeling the sunshine on my face with eyes closed. It’s the moments when looking back, I wish I could have been more present.
