You know I love a good blazer. Here in Charleston, a blazer can work in lieu of a coat (on a warmer day, at least… it was in the sixties on Saturday!). This season’s blazer is either hyper tailored (ideally in a fun color, with a matching pair of trousers, shorts, or a skirt) or loose and slouchy… perfect for pairing with straight leg denim.
Blazers are not an item in my closet that I frequently replenish. I tend to rewear the same blazers year after year. If you buy well, you will have and wear them forever. (There is an oversized pinky-brown Theory blazer I splurged on years ago that’s still my number one…I wish...
