Old friends who just met
So it might sound cheesy, but go with me on it. There's a song in the original Muppet Movie from the 70's sung by Gonzo (yes the weird blue one) called "I'm Going to Go Back There Someday". It's somewhat melancholy in nature and comes at a point in the movie where they're kind of down on their luck, but there is one lyric I have always loved - "There's not a word yet for old friends who've just met."
