Feels Like Home – December’s Thrifty Six
When Shelbee sent us the prompt of “Feels Like Home”, I immediately thought of my childhood, and the patterns and colours of the 70s. I remember orange and brown featuring heavily in our house, which is probably why I love these colours together. There is still an orange wooden chair at my mum’s – it’s gone full circle and is back in fashion again! I’ve collected a lot of vintage and retro pieces over the last few years, including this brown and orange shirt. It’s handmade and typical of the 1970s. I teamed it with my very old brown trousers that I wear a lot over the winter. I topped it off with this burnt orange faux leather...
