Portugal Part 4!
Paradise! I wanted a place that would allow me to relax and unwind completely and Areias do Seixo near Santa Cruz proved to be an excellent choice. It only has 10 rooms and is owned and managed by a couple that love their job and their area making them excellent hosts. Each room is uniquely decorated and ours' (Oliveira Princesa) focal point was the olive tree in the bathroom! I never got bored of waking up in the morning and walking in a bathroom that was full of sunlight, and having a candlelit shower while looking at the stars is an experience I won't forget. The nights were chilly but this only meant that we could use our fireplace! I don't think we ever switched...
