Hot in Fyé (Holiday)
Bonjour! We have returned from 11 days in France and boy, was it a holiday of two halves. We took the overnight ferry from Portsmouth to Caen-Ouistreham which docked at 5:45am and just a couple of hours later we arrived in tiny Fyé in Pays de la Loire. My parents had been staying in a house owned by a family friend (as seems customary among people of my parents generation living in the south of the UK!) since the previous weekend and it had been HOT.
