Basingstoke to Winchester - 26.2 miles
Last week Paul and I ran to Winchester from home which was pretty cool. He mapped out a route from the local shop to the cathedral which was 26.2 miles exactly - although the high street was so busy we missed a left turn and ended up running 26.39 miles. Once we got to the other side of Basingstoke, it was all trail paths and fields from Cliddesden, which essentially followed the route of the M3 but far enough over that we couldn't actually hear the motorway until we were about 2-3 miles from the end.
