Vacation Part 3
For those of you a little rusty on your geography, Savannah, GA is just a short 45 minute drive from Hilton Head Island, SC, where we went for vacation. So we took a ride over and spent the day in this beautiful, fun, friendly city. We chatted with lots of friendly people (and even met a fellow New Jerseyan), saw lots of spanish moss hanging on everything, ate fried green tomatoes, visited artists working in their galleries, and strolled around in the sunshine. It was everyone's favorite part of the vacation by far. And here's an interesting fact: you're allowed to drink alcohol on the streets of Savannah. Bars and restaurants all offer drinks to go! We...
