Ah, March! That time of year when we’re relieved to have made it through February and excited about spring, but it’s weeks and weeks away. As winter lingers, outfitting becomes about hinting at spring without risking hypothermia. To solve this, I like to add lightweight outerwear in super bright colors for those winter-to-spring days. Case in point: a bright plaid car coat.
The car coat is a good March and April option; the longer length is excellent for blocking blustery winds, but it’s generally not as heavy as your winter parkas...
