Ain’t No Glory in the West
Over the last couple of years, Orville Peck has quickly become my favorite musician out there performing today. His unique country sound and style makes him a living Gram Parsons for me (and if you’ve been reading the blog for awhile, you know Parsons is one of my all-time faves), and I made it my goal to see him perform live once things opened back up. When he announced he was performing at both Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals in Indio, all I could think of was how easy it would be for him to just pop up to the not too far Pappy & Harriet’s in Pioneertown and do a show, well, he did and I was over the moon!
