Brunches and Sunday Dresses
Oh, you know this is a throw back because of those unsightly roots on top of my head. I'm squinting at them on the computer screen and shaking my head sadly. How did I show my face these past weeks? Or more importantly, how did no one pass by me and toss a paper bag over my head? People of Chicago, you have restraint. Anyways, this is what I wore last Sunday to my parents' 23rd Anniversary brunch! It was an afternoon of champagne (no showers), fancy pants waffles next to scoops of pasta and seafood (only during brunch), and funny memories of wedding dresses with offensively huge shoulder poofs and matching honeymoon track suits. May we all be that lucky one day :) ...
