Do you like fashion contests? It's great in my eyes. It gives extra motivation to the designers, exposure because of the press and jury (who are all related to fashion) and surely the prizes. Last Monday I had a chance to watch the young designers paving their path deeper into fashion during the finals of the contest of young designers MKMM (the biggest in Russia). There were three nominations: the collection, the art (theme: On the other side of the Moon) and designer awards (this one is special and is from designers to designers). each has it's own charm.
