The Queen of Darkness & Nothing
Lost things. My life seems utterly filled with lost things. Photos, memories, words, opportunities, possibilities all lost. I've borrowed this title from some book or other, but it seems rather apt at times and also quite Halloween-y. Sometimes I find them again but usually much too late. Take these photos for example. I took them months ago in anticipation of October and here they are, completely forgotten until the very last second. Oh, well, I suppose. Better late than never. Part of maturity, and not a part that a I enjoy but a part of it nonetheless, is learning to let go. Things get lost. Doors get closed. Best to let go and move...
