The Velvet Underground – October’s Thrifty Six
Happy Monday! It’s time for October’s instalment of The Thrifty Six, and it was my turn to set the theme this month. I wanted it to be seasonal but I didn’t want to peak too soon with coats…so I chose “The Velvet Underground” as the prompt. Don’t be fooled by the title – it’s about the fabric, not the band! I just like a catchy heading. Some of my best pre-loved finds have been velvet jackets, including this deep red one. It only cost a few pounds and is in perfect condition.
