What a week it’s been since I last posted! After developing what I thought was just a cold it became obvious that I’d caught Covid from Isobel. But whereas her PCR came back positive the next day, mine got lost. So, I don’t have absolute proof that I caught it. However, the streaming nose, terrible headaches, fatigue and (most tellingly) loss of taste and smell all point overwhelmingly to that conclusion. Oh, and the three positive lateral flow tests too. I’ll be honest it’s been a really shit week, topped off with our holiday to Barbados being scuppered. Unlike some countries, Barbados requires a negative PCR for entry, and so soon after...
