On Friday, I went to Pittsburgh for an art show for two of the most incredible artists I know, Steve Ehret and Ron Copeland. Steve's a painter. Mostly of "monsters". His use of color and his ability to create a multidimensional image continues to blow me away. You can stare at his paintings forever and whenever you come back to them, you see something new. It's fascinating. Ron's a mixed media artist of sorts and I am always captivated by his installations. They're an art form in themselves. This past show, he had a series of light boxes made of recycled plexiglass signs and hand created lettering. I'm lusting after one that says "GET OVER IT." Did I mention they're both...
