The 13 Year Dress
You might remember the 3 year dress , but move over for the 13 year dress. When I was in 8th grade I remember seeing the Anna Sui S/S 2008 RTW collection on Vogue.com and it changed my life. It was so eclectic. So much about the collection spoke to me. The colored wigs, the retro style, you name it. This look from the collection has always stuck with me. A lot of it is nostalgia, my love for the color pink being used in a unique way, and Sasha Pivovarova rocking this look like none other. Also, as a teenager lost in suburbia I remember seeing this dress in Seventeen Magazine and I promised my then punk rock self that someday I would have this dress....
