Cumberland Falls State Resort Park
Last April my husband and I spent a week in the Smokey Mountains. On the way home, we stopped at a lovely park in Kentucky to check out their waterfall: Cumberland Falls. The app on my IPhone directed us not to the Visitor Center, but to the DuPont Lodge in the park. It is a very beautiful building and I sure wouldn't mind staying a night or two here. However, we ended up going on a short hike through the woods, which we didn't need to, because if we would stayed on the road entering the park, we would have been able to park right at the waterfalls!
